ASTS Collaborative Scientist Grant
Assistant Professor Malcolm MacConmara, M.D., has been selected by the American Society for Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) to receive the 2019 Collaborative Scientist Grant for the study “Predicting Liver Transplant Outcomes Using Donor Genetics: Utility of HSD17B13 as a Novel Biomarker.”
Promising Investigator Award
The American College of Surgeons has announced that Assistant Professor Dr. Sam Wang will receive the 2019 Jacobson Promising Investigator Award. Dr. Wang is the first person at UT Southwestern to be so honored.
