Madison Argo

The Department of Surgery is proud to announce that Madison Argo is the winner of the 2019 Hudson-Penn Award.

The award is in its 41st year and is given by the Department of Surgery to a senior medical student whose performance in surgery and attitude toward the care of surgical patients represents the highest standards of the UT Southwestern Medical School. The prize, which was established in 1979, is named for the Lee Hudson and Robert Penn families.

Please join the department in congratulating Madison Argo on this stellar achievement. Ms. Argo recently matched into the general surgery residency program at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.
