The Surgery Faculty Professional Development Series is now in full swing, having wrapped up its first presentation of the series. The first featured speaker of the series was Andrew Ziskind, M.D., M.B.A., who is the senior executive officer of Southwestern Health Resources. Their topic, “Let’s Make a Deal: Managing Budgets,” covered operational budgets and how they affect every member of our faculty. Each presentation will be available as a video for current faculty members in the Department of Surgery to review at their convenience.
