Speaker roundup for September

Department of Radiation Oncology faculty gave invited lectures at the following events recently:

Mike Story, Ph.D., was a keynote speaker at a cancer innovation symposium, held as part of the grand opening activities on Aug. 13 for the new Proton Therapy Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center/UC Health. Dr. Story’s topic was “The future of radiation therapy is with charged particles.”

Dr. Story also will make an appearance next month at the Radiation Research Society (RRS) meeting, where he is the organizer of the session entitled, “Charged Particle Biology and Therapy.” He also will give a session talk titled “Omics analysis in head and neck cancer.”
