Radiation Oncology well-represented at ASTRO
With 16 abstracts, seven presentations, and one press briefing, the faculty of UT Southwestern Radiation Oncology will be well-represented at the 50th annual conference of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), held this year in Boston from September 25-28.
Puneeth Iyengar, M.D., Ph.D., will be featured in a news briefing on Monday morning as part of a discussion titled “Refining Treatment Decisions.” His topic will be “A Phase III Randomized Study of Image-Guided Conventional (60Gy/30fx) vs. Accelerated, Hypofractionated (60Gy/15fx) Radiation for Poor Performance Status Stage II and III NSCLC Patients – An Interim Analysis.”
