The inaugural International Neuroscience Nursing Research Symposium was held in August of 2017 on the UT Southwestern Medical Center campus. It was a half-day forum that discussed the latest research topics relevant to neuroscience nurses. Since then the symposium has grown, in partnership with the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, to a two-day conference hosting some of the world's foremost experts in neuroscience nursing research. The conference continues to gain momentum with international and national front-runners presenting the latest neuro-related nursing research via platform and poster presentations.
