Why UT Southwestern?

“I was first drawn to UTSW and Parkland as a resident, seeking both a rigorous academic experience and excellent clinical training. UTSW and Parkland are one of a handful of institutions that offer both to a high level, featuring world class researchers and educators to help every trainee reach their goal. It was these same characteristics that drew me back to the institution to start my career. My goal as APD is to elevate the fellowship’s research and academic experience while contributing to the robust clinical atmosphere of the institution. Although we had no family in the area, we also found Dallas to be an extremely livable city and found North Texas to be an excellent place to raise a family and form a community.”
