News and Announcements

Congratulations to Shu Zhang and Xinzeng Wang for receiving the 2018 Carol and Robert Eberhart Endowed Scholarship in Engineering in the Clinical Sciences. Dr. Robert Eberhart served as Chairman of the Joint UT Southwestern-UT Arlington Graduate Biomedical Engineering Program from 1983 to 2000.  This scholarship recognizes the excellence and stature of the Biomedical Engineering Program and the academic achievements of its student body and to encourage outstanding students to pursue graduate biomedical engineering education and careers.

Congratulations to Cyonna Holmes for receiving the 32nd Annual Ida M. Green Award. The Ida M. Green Award was established in 1987 with a bequest from Mrs. Green to Southwestern Medical Foundation. With encouragement from her husband, Cecil Green, the award was established to acknowledge a female graduate studying the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the well-being of other students, to research excellence, and to exceptional community service activities.
