About the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program
The UT Southwestern Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program was established and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in 2018. The program is currently under the direction of Sari Bar, D.O.
All fellows will see patients in the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) Clinic, which averages over 2,500 visits per year. The DBP Clinic serves a population of various backgrounds with both public and private health insurance, with a broad age distribution from birth to 18.
As part of the diverse training, fellows will also spend time in the Down Syndrome Clinic, Complex Care Clinic, and multidisciplinary 22Q11 Clinic at Children's Health, and the Spina Bifida Clinic and Dyslexia Program at Scottish Rite for Children.
To date, all graduates of the program have secured academic positions, including roles at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Florida Jacksonville, as well as a Medical Director role at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
