Social Services

A team of social workers and psychologists from the Simmons Cancer Center and a nurse navigator is dedicated to supporting patients and families. Our dedicated nurse navigator guides patients through the initial stages of their care in the neuro-oncology clinic and radiation oncology clinic and helps facilitate optimal communication. The social work and psychology team provides counseling for emotional support and guidance to patients & families. There is additional support for home care services, information for patient and caregiver support groups, psychosocial assessments, and assistance with transitions of care planning.
