Bioinformatics Special Events


Are you a current undergrad or recent graduate of Computational Biology and/or Bioinformatics?

We want to hear about your research!

The Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics along with the BME Computational Biology Graduate Program at UTSW is holding a competition to recognize up to three exceptional undergraduate scientists.

Who can apply? Undergraduate students and post-bac researchers at US academic institutions.

Application have closed.

Applicants will be screened and up to 10 finalists will be invited to present posters on their research at our annual retreat, held jointly with the BME Computational Biology program (we will cover airfare, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation for these 10 finalists). A panel of faculty will judge the posters, and the most outstanding presentations (up to 3) will receive a prize of $1000 each!
