Kranthi Mandadapu, PhD is Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. The Mandadapu lab conducts research at the intersection of statistical and continuum mechanical fields. Their work seeks to understand how materials behave at multiple length and time scales by focusing on: principles of organization in biological membranes; principles of eukaryotic and prokaryotic motility; and thermal and mechanical behavior of polycrystalline and amorphous materials.
