Class of 1981: Ellen Puré, Ph.D., was appointed fellow of the world’s largest scientific society – the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Puré serves as Chair and Professor of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She is also Director of the Penn Vet Cancer Center. Dr. Puré completed her doctorate in immunology and postdoctoral fellowships at UT Southwestern.
