International postdoctoral scholars offered an appointment as a postgraduate trainee, postdoctoral fellow II, or postdoctoral researcher II at UT Southwestern Medical Center can become active members of the campus' Postdoctoral Association (PDA).

The group's International Committee provides information and resources to help new international postdoctorates transition to life at UT Southwestern. 

One of the initiatives of the PDA International Committee is the Buddy Program. Through the Buddy Program, you can be matched to a current UT Southwestern postdoctoral scholar who can answer your questions about the U.S. research environment and living in Dallas before you arrive on campus.
