Now in its eighth year, the Endowed Scholars Program in Biomedical Research provides in excess of $1,000,000 over 4 years to five, first-time, tenure-track assistant professors at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Funded by private endowment, the program has assured the successful launch of research careers for a cadre of 37 young and creative investigators.
