Research within the Department can be divided into two domains. The first domain is defined as basic research, which entails biomedical laboratory studies at the molecular/cellular level or the neural systems/behavioral level. The other research domain focuses on patient aspects and are categorized as clinical neuroscience or intervention and services research.
