McDermott Header

Our goal is to foster excellence in human genetics and genomics.  The Center provides expertise and resources for both clinicians and basic scientists to identify genes and sequence variation contributing to human diseases and traits.  Many have already been identified by UTSW researchers: Human Chromosome Map.  A central mission of the Center is also to support educational activities involving human genetics in both the medical and graduate school.
