The Radiology Department is dynamic and innovative, with a commitment to remain in the forefront of new developments and clinical applications in today's changing field of medical imaging. Our mission is to achieve the highest standard of patient care and to provide excellence in radiology teaching and research. Our expanding facilities and programs, supported by our excellent basic science and research divisions, enable us to offer unique and varied learning opportunities to residents and fellows in radiology.
We are dedicated to improving patient health by offering state-of-the-art image-based technology in all areas of clinical radiology. Our Medical Imaging Services, offered in comfortable private-office settings on the UT Southwestern campus, can diagnose a vast array of health problems. Our outpatient services are conducted in UT Southwestern clinics with inpatient services provided at UT Southwestern University Hospital and Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Goals of the Department of Radiology :
- Deliver quality medical care through imaging technology for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in an environment of concern and compassion for our patients.
- Provide exemplary educational programs.
- Advance the practice of evidence-based radiology through clinical and basic science.
