Rehabilitation Research Laboratory
The Rehabilitation Research Laboratory is a comprehensive facility designed specifically to analyze motion problems in adults with a spinal cord injury.  By utilizing sophisticated measurement equipment, the neuromuscular and skeletal events that occur while walking and other human activities can be interpreted objectively.  Measurement of this type is necessary because conventional clinical assessment of motion often fails to identify subtle features which may explain a motion problem.  The laboratory can be used for diagnostic purposes, for documenting the effectiveness of treatment, or for special research protocols developed in collaboration with the laboratory's medical and engineering staff.
