The commitment to education by the Department of Neurology starts with medical students and progresses through residents, fellows, and continuing medical education for faculty and physicians in the community.  Each of these groups of healthcare professions is welcome to attend any of our lecture series and educational programs. The Neurology residency program offers high quality clinical training in an academic setting. 

Neurology grand rounds is held at noon every Wednesday from September through May.  The Clinical Neuroscience Lectures are jointly sponsored grand rounds with the Department of Psychiatry and focus on topics that interface between clinical medicine and laboratory research.  The goal is to provide an interactive forum of interest to both clinicians and basic researchers.  The Neuroscience lecture series is held each Tuesday at 4pm on north campus in room ND4.218.  This series focuses on basic neuroscience research and is jointly sponsored by Neurology, Psychiatry and the Center for Neuroscience.  Numerous other teaching conferences are conducted on a regular schedule throughout the year for the students, residents and fellows.
