The mission of the William T. and Gay F. Solomon Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) is to provide excellence in patient care, research and education. It is the largest single clinical-care division at UT Southwestern. GIM physicians attend to patients at the James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center, at University Hospitals-St. Paul building, and at Parkland Memorial Hospital's Center for Internal Medicine. The division's physicians also provide inpatient care and conduct consultations at University Hospitals-Zale Lipshy building, University Hospitals-St. Paul building, and Parkland Memorial Hospital.
