Budget Office

Our mission in the Budget Office is to provide prudent fiscal management in support of the vision and goals of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas through:

• Development, implementation, and monitoring of the institutional budget
• Provide funding and spending authority to support departmental operations
• Prepare the university's biennial request for legislative appropriations
• Produce various financial management reports
• Serve as a financial information resource for various governmental offices
