General Services is responsible for production control, purchasing, finance and accounting, warehouse, and computer services that provide support services to other Physical Plant divisions.

Production Control
Peggy Mackey, (214) 648-2121

Production Control receives all departmental requests for work, including emergency service calls, building repairs, and remodeling and renovations. Production Control maintains the work order system and keeps a funding and work status on each work order.

Financial Affairs
Sharyl Sliger, (214) 648-7182

Financial Affairs establishes, monitors, controls, reconciles and reports on assigned accounts and budgets. Financial Affairs is responsible for checking work orders for accuracy prior to billing the department and ensures prompt and correct payment of vendor invoices.

Purchasing

Purchasing provides procurement services to the other Physical Plant divisions.

Warehouse
Michael Ortiz (Interim), (214) 648-3887

Warehouse provides receiving and warehousing services to Physical Plant divisions. These services include the operation of warehouse and a tool room, the issue of radios, beepers, automobile fuel and uniforms, paper shredding services and miscellaneous delivery services in support of Physical Plant operations.

IT Services

IT Services installs and maintains Physical Plant's work order system and  computer hardware and software equipment.  IT Support Services investigates, proposes, and delivers computer and information systems utilizing appropriate and cost effective information technology.
