The Department of Pharmacology holds its seminar series every Thursday at 4 PM during the academic year. Topics cover a broad range of research in modern biology presented by established investigators and new up and coming investigators. The series also includes occasional presentations by Pharmacology faculty as part of the T&B departmental functions.

The Department of Pharmacology also sponsors the Alvin Taurog Lectureship in Pharmacology and the David Garbers Lectureship, which are held in conjunction with the departmental seminar series and the University Lecture Series.
