Dr. James Richardson, professor of pathology, and Dr. Sue Cox, associate dean for medical education and professor of obstetrics and gynecology, received the highest honors at the fifth annual Excellence in Education Awards ceremony and reception held at the A.W. Harris Faculty and Alumni Center in October. Dr. J. Gregory Fitz, executive vice president for academic affairs, provost and dean of UT Southwestern Medical School, presented the Distinguished Basic Science Educator Award to Dr. Richardson and the Distinguished Clinical Science Educator Award to Dr. Cox.
