Takahashi, circadian rhythms expert, named Neuroscience chair*
Dr. Joseph Takahashi, a pioneer in the study of circadian rhythms, has been named chairman of neuroscience. A member of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) investigator, he was director of the Center for Functional Genomics at Northwestern University before joining the faculty at
