SELECTION CRITERIA
Fellowship positions are awarded on the basis of the following criteria:
- A consistent record of academic achievement and/or future academic potential
- A commitment to understanding of the process for career development in academic medicine
- Personal integrity and a commitment to humanistic values expected of compassionate physicians
Fellows interested in the Clinical Investigator track should demonstrate excellent clinical skills during their training in Internal Medicine. Those interested in the Physician Scientist track must demonstrate clinical competency, but selection for a training position will focus on previous academic achievement and/or future academic promise.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Candidates applying for the Combined Clinical & Research track should submit their application form with at least two letters of reference via the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) no later than December 31 for enrollment in July of the following year.
