We have weekly conferences in addition to the Annual Research Symposium.

Weekly conferences are every Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Room E6.224.

Annual Department Symposium

The 11th Annual Surgical Research Forum will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in NG 3.112 (T. Boone Pickens Conference Center). This program will feature laboratory and clinical research presentations by residents, fellows, and faculty from the Department of Surgery and other departments. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Colleen M. Brophy, MD, Professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery, Vanderbilt University. Dr. Brophy's research interest is in the area of smooth muscle relaxation.
