Kathy joined the Center for Vascular Disease at UT Southwestern in January of 2003. Her diagnostic imaging career began in the area of Radiography, but she returned to school for training in the modality of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and has since obtained credentials in the specialty areas of Abdominal, Obstetric, and Vascular Sonography. A native of Florida, Kathy relocated to Dallas in 1998, and served as the technical director for a vascular lab associated with a private group of vascular surgeons in Dallas before coming to UT Southwestern. Kathy graduated from the University of South Florida in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is a member of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, and the Society of Vascular Ultrasonographers.
