Walker-Sinn Lecture
The Walker/Sinn Lecture is held annually to acknowledge and celebrate the major contributions by Drs. Robert V. Walker and Douglas P. Sinn. Dr. Robert V. Walker served as Chair of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from 1956 to 1984 and Dr. Douglas P. Sinn served in the same capacity from 1984 to 2004. Under their leadership and direction, the program produced 215 alumni, 29 department or division chairpersons, 2 deans, and 31 research fellows.

We know that many were not able to attend Dr. Robert V. Walker's memorial and funeral in April for many very good reasons. We have included a memorial to Dr. Walker in this program which will be held during lunch time. Please join us to celebrate and honor a great man.

Does everybody deserve to be sedated in the office?
