UT Southwestern University Hospitals' comprehensive Nurse Externship is designed especially for the ADN and BSN nursing student graduating in December. We offer hands-on experience in nursing fundamentals before graduation, in a premier teaching medical environment. Take your skills to the next level. Observe and learn the professional role and responsibilities of the RN, while working side-by-side with an assigned Preceptor. Along with learning opportunities, you will develop confidence and reinforcement of clinical skills while becoming comfortable in a hospital environment.
