Mechanisms of Disease and Translational Science - Dissertation Research

The types of research appropriate for this track are similar to those in most graduate track programs. Dissertation mentors may be selected members of DBS graduate programs. Although encouraged, students are not required to do research on human biology or disease, because all basic science research can impact the understanding and treatment of human diseases. The dissertation committee should include at least one physician scientist.
