The cooperative approach of the physicians from the Heart, Lung and Vascular Center distinguishes them from most others in the country. The clinical team partners the cardiologist with pulmonary or vascular specialists, ensuring that the expertise of multiple specialties is integrated to address the patient’s problem during a single visit. This coordination of care is more than just a convenience — it can be lifesaving.
The advanced heart, lung and vascular care provided today at the newly renovated UT Southwestern University Hospital - St. Paul facility is made possible through support from the community. Generous gifts from individuals and foundations have been the driving force behind the establishment of this program.
Joining the Friends of the Heart, Lung and Vascular Center gives members the opportunity to:
- Attend educational programs presented by leading specialists in cardiology, pulmonology and vascular disease;
