Definition:  The conversion of a written text into a corresponding written text in a different language*.

Translator:  A person who translates written texts, especially one who does so professionally*.

Spanish Translation Services

UT Southwestern Medical Center Spanish translators offer professional translation services. The translators are located on-site.

• To request Spanish translation services you may:
  

    a. Download a request form on the website and
        Email your document with completed form to
        LanguageandTranslationServices@UTSouthwestern.edu
    b. Fax your document with accompanying form to
        214-645-1268

• Cost for Spanish translation services:
  $110.00 per page or $55.00 per half-page with a half-page minimum of $55.00

NOTE: Charges are based on the target language (Spanish), which is typically longer than the English Document.

Other Foreign Languages Translation Services

Other foreign languages translation services is provided by Access Language Center, LLC.

• To request other foreign languages translation services, which are available under contract with Access Language Center, LLC, please submit an online purchase requisition and obtain a PO number. If you anticipate requiring such services on an occasional basis, it may be possible to obtain a blanket PO for the fiscal year. The PO number must be submitted to Access Language Center, LLC prior to services being performed.
