The Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Core is set up to run ELISAs, EIAs, and RIAs for mouse, rat, or human samples.  Three different options are available:

  1. The investigator provides just the samples.
  2. The investigator provides the kit and samples.
  3. The investigator provides a plate ready to be read.

The cost of the service is $200 for plate set up, and $200 for reading/analysis (plus the cost of the plate, if applicable).

The following are some of the plates we are capable of running (but not limited to):

Plate Cost per plate
Adiponectin        $875
Ghrelin*        $875
GIP        $875
GLP-1*     $1,135
Glucagon*     $1,135
Insulin        $772
Leptin        $772
Resistin*        $875

If you do not see a test you would like to run, please contact the core and we will do our best to find the kit for you.

Since each test is different in both protocol and cost, you must contact the core for sample volume and price of plate.

* Need specific inhibitors added immediately after blood draw.  Please contact Laura Brule if you are interested in running these hormones.
