State of Texas Grants Team - The mission of the State Grants Team is to increase Texas' access to available federal funds.  The State Grants Team provides technical assistance, statewide grants training and federal liaison services to Texas state agencies, all subdivisions of government, and nonprofit organizations. The Team’s legislative mandate also requires management of the Texas Review and Comment System (TRACS) and administration of the Uniform Grants Management Standards.  

Community of Science (COS) - The most comprehensive source of funding information available on the Web, with more than 22,000 records, representing over 400,000 funding opportunities, worth over $33 billion.

Cancer Research and Funding Opportunities - sponsored by the UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center

Help for New Investigators - these "All About Grants" tutorials help biomedical investigators, especially new ones, plan, write, and apply for the basic NIH research project grant, the R01 . Our advice comes from the knowledge and experience of NIAID staff, including former NIH grantees, and should be considered as opinion only. Differing opinions may exist.

Commerce Business Daily - Issued by the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO), and published on the Web by Community of Science, FedBizOpps (FBO) lists notices of proposed government procurement actions, contract awards, sales of government property, and other procurement information over $25,000 - all updated daily.

The Foundation Center Online - the nation's leading authority on philanthropy, connecting nonprofits and the grantmakers supporting them to tools they can use and information they can trust.

Grants NET - resource to find funds for training in the sciences and undergraduate science education. Through the support of HHMI and AAAS, this service is completely free.

National Research Council Fellowship Office - administers predoctoral, dissertation, and postdoctoral fellowship programs in research-based fields of study.
