November 11, 2006 - The North Texas Autism Summit, co-sponsored by the Autism Treatment Center, featured leading experts in the field of autism from a number of renowned institutions around the country. These speakers presented the latest data and findings in the field of autism, with applications ranging from basic research to clinical practice, as well as community resources available to the public.
With 1.5 million cases of autism currently diagnosed in the United States and its incidence on the rise, UT Southwestern Medical Center is committed to improving diagnosis and treatment, and ultimately, finding cures and preventing autism. Together, we can create a better future for the children and families affected by autism spectrum disorders.
