About IR
The mission of Information Resources is to support UT Southwestern Medical Center, including its Hospitals and Clinics, by providing computing, networking, audiovisual, voice and data telecommunication, and television services to all client organizations and individuals in a timely and reliable fashion.
Kirk Kirksey is Vice President for Information Resources at UT Southwestern. Mr. Kirksey oversees seven divisions which are responsible for information technology on campus:

- Client Services
- Financial Services
- Health System Information Resources
- Information Security
- Infrastructure Services
- Systems & Data Center Operations
