Collaborative  programs within the University of Texas system are creating the future by joining resources today. The Dallas Cochlear Implant Program is one such enterprise of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, The University of Texas at Dallas, and Children's Medical Center.

The Dallas Cochlear Implant Program brings together knowledge, discipline and service focused toward a singular vision of Cochlear Implant advancement. Through research, education and patient services the program offers a broad scope of endeavor driven and enhanced by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, audiologists, speech pathologists, psychologists, educators and other professional researchers.

In all our work we strive to be family-centered, culturally sensitive, multidisciplinary, coordinated and focused on outcomes. Our patient care services for adults and children recognize that the family is the constant in the implant recipient's life, while our program and personnel may fluctuate. Our educational programs and services understand the need to be flexible, accessible and responsive to students and family needs. Our researchers are held to the highest standards not only by their financial sponsors but by their own sense of responsibility and caring.

We look forward to serving you and your family.

Sincerely,
Dr. Betty Loy,
Program Research Manager
