Coming soon! The Master of Clinical Nutrition programs outlined below will start in fall of 2010.

The Master of Clinical Nutrition (MCN) program has two academic tracks:

  1. MCN Coordinated Program Track - For those with a Bachelor degree in any field who are interested in becoming a registered dietitian.
    • This track prepares students to address the nutritional and health needs of society as a registered dietitian. Optimum nutrition is essential when managing diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, or cancer. Changes in food trends and increased emphasis on prevention of disease make the field of nutrition continuously challenging and rewarding.

    • The Master of Clinical Nutrition Coordinated Program is granted accreditation with an emphasis in Nutrition Therapy by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606, 312-899-0040.

    • This track is designed to advance the skills and knowledge in nutrition of registered dietitians and other licensed health professionals. This graduate degree program will build on your current professional skills and expose you to the latest clinical nutrition research. Research continues to clarify optimum nutritional strategies for management of such diseases as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and cancer. Changes in food trends and increased emphasis on prevention and treatment of disease make the field of nutrition continuously challenging and rewarding.
