Enrolled students can apply for scholarships throughout their time with the Allied Health Sciences School. Most scholarships require you to submit:

  • an application
  • letters of recommendation
  • transcripts of academic work
  • by a specific deadline

The American Dietetic Association and the Texas Dietetic Association award scholarships ranging from $100 - $2,000 each year.  Students must submit a complete application to be considered.  Click on the links above to get an application.

Students are highly encouraged to apply for available scholarships. Many scholarships go un-awarded due to lack off applicants.

Scholarships are typically awarded based on:

  • overall GPA
  • community service
  • professional leadership qualities

Other scholarship opportunities may be by a nomination from a faculty member, one nominee per department.

Students who are not eligible for scholarships may apply for financial assistance through Financial Aid.

See the names of last year's Scholarship Winners.
