Take advantage of the equipment rental and group activity resources available at the Student Center. Outdoor equipment can be expensive to purchase. This service gives you the opportunity to participate without emptying your pocket.
Be sure to plan ahead and reserve your equipment in advance. Reservations can be made at the Member Services desk at the Bryan Williams, M.D. Student Center.
Reservations and Check-out
Reservations are required for equipment rentals and must be made in person at the Member Service desk. Reservations/check-out of camping qeuipment is only available Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. A deposit is required when a reservation is made.

Equipment Rental Policies
- Rental equipment is available to UT Southwestern students and members of the Bryan Williams, M.D. Student Center. A valid UT Southwestern ID is required.
- A deposit for the full retail value of the items leased is required at the time of reservation.
- Reservations may be made in person up to one month in advance at the Member Services Desk. Equipment not reserved is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A fee of $10.00 will be charged if a reservation is cancelled with less than a 48-hour notice.
- Late fees will be assessed at $10.00 for each day the equipment is late past the agreed return date.
- Equipment must be properly cleaned, dried, and packed prior to its return. Users will be assessed a cleaning fee for equipment that has been returned dirty.
- Fees will be assessed at the current retail price for repair or replacement of damaged or lost equipment.
- Individuals abusing equipment or not following procedures may be ineligible to rent equipment in the future.
- All participants are limited to renting one of each item per person except for sleeping bags and pads.
