Education does not begin or end at the classroom door. Education and learning occur in all aspects of college life. Student Organizations offer students various opportunities for voluntary association with individuals of shared interests. They provide leadership development, activism, public service, and social and cultural interaction. They offer students an opportunity for activities and growth beyond the classroom, as well as an opportunity to work together in a more informal setting. The Student Center is designed to assist the more than 50 student organizations on the UT Southwestern campus. If you cannot find a group that meets your interests or are interested in starting your own, the Student Center staff will be happy to assist you in this endeavor.

Or, if you're an old hand at running your organization, the following are forms that will help you through the year:

  • Reimbursement form for organizations
Remember that reimbursement forms must be submitted within 14 days of the event!
  • Fundraising Application
Request approval for a fundraising event for your student organization.
  • Room Reservation
If you'd like to host your event in any of the following rooms: C2.106, C2.108, D1.600, or D1.700, please fill out the above form and turn into the Student Center
