The Community Action Research Track (CART) offers medical students a longitudinal experience combining community-based effectiveness research with care delivery in underserved areas.

The Community Health Fellowship Program offers first year medical students at UT Southwestern the opportunity to be trained in community-based participatory research techniques, and then apply this knowledge in direct service to the community. More information on this program can be found here.
