Opportunities

The American Academy of Dermatology Association (AADA) invites first through fourth-year medical students from ethnically and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds who are interested in learning more about the specialty of dermatology to participate in the Academy's Diversity Mentorship Program.  http://www.aad.org/professionals/Residents/mmstudentinfo.htm .

The Agape Clinic is a free dermatology clinic run by a UTSW residents.  Volunteering at the Agape Clinic is a great way to gain more exposure to the practice of dermatology while helping an underserved population.  The schedule varies monthly.  If you are interested in visiting the clinic, contact Jessica.Zmolik@UTSouthwestern.edu.

We are recruiting volunteers for the Sun Protection Lectures, which will be spear-headed in the spring. Please email Stephanie.Savory@UTSouthwestern.edu or Catherine.Bevan@UTSouthwestern.edu to find out how you can participate.
