Biomedical Communications Graduate Program
UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas

The Biomedical Communications Graduate Program at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accepting applications for a full-time faculty member.  The position entails teaching responsibilities in digital media including instruction in 2D image development and video applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, AfterEffects, Flash and Final Cut Pro, website design, and traditional draftsmanship skills. 3D modeling and animation are a plus, but not necessary. Additional responsibilities include production/supervision of illustration and media projects for UT Southwestern faculty.

A Master’s degree from an accredited university or college of Arts, Sciences, and/or Technology is required.  Certification in Medical Illustration is preferred.

This person will join a dynamic and award-winning faculty team that is rapidly expanding into new and emerging media applications.  The program’s affiliation with The University of Texas at Dallas will afford the opportunity for this faculty to pursue a Ph.D. in Arts and Technology at that institution.
