UT Southwestern is considered a leader in the development and clinical implementation of many innovative technologies, including: intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), 4-D imaging, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and adaptive strategies.

By its nature, medical physics is a multidisciplinary specialty, spanning such diverse areas as physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and engineering.  At UT Southwestern  our multidisciplinary environment enables us to develop radiation delivery technologies that scale from the pre-clinical to clinical setting.
