UT Southwestern strongly supports the effort to relieve traffic congestion and vehicle pollution on campus and provide money-saving commuting options to employees.  To assist with this effort, UT Southwestern is offering a carpooling option with reduced costs and enhanced parking to our employees and students.

Two or more UT Southwestern faculty, staff, or students who are willing to carpool to campus would be eligible.

Program Details:

Participants in the UT Southwestern Carpool Program are not eligible to purchase individual parking decals.  The carpooling group will be issued a special hang tag to identify the vehicle as properly registered on campus for parking privileges.  Each vehicle used by the carpool group will have to be registered to associate it with the hang tag issued to the group. You may obtain a Carpooling Program Parking Registration application from Parking Services.

Each rider in the carpooling group will be issued ten free parking hang tags for lot parking to be used on days when they need to drive their personal vehicle on campus.  Additional parking hang tags can be purchased from Parking Services for $2 per hang tag.
