UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas offers extensive clinical services through a network of well-respected affiliated institutions. Most patients are treated at three prestigious North Texas hospitals:

UT Southwestern University Hospital-Zale Lipshy, a 151-bed private facility on the South Campus, providing a central location to hospitalize patients referred to UT Southwestern faculty members. Clinical centers of excellence include faculty specialists in thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, otolaryngology and ophthalmology.

UT Southwestern University Hospital-St. Paul, a 330-bed facility that provides a central location for private patients referred by members of UT Southwestern’s faculty. A heart and lung transplant program, a high-risk obstetrics program, a breast surgery program, and a family practice residency program are among the hospital’s centers of excellence.

Parkland Memorial Hospital, a 990-bed facility operated by the Dallas County Hospital District is part of the Parkland Health and Hospital System.  Parkland, the medical center's primary teaching facility, offers a variety of clinical services, ranging from outpatient clinics to an extremely active emergency service, which provide an abundance of clinical situations for teaching purposes.
