For more than 40 years, UT Southwestern physicians in Obstetrics & Gynecology have gained national and international recognition by authoring the leading obstetrics textbook, maintaining an active clinical research role for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and staffing the largest maternity service in the country. Our outpatient facilities are located in clinics on the campus of UT Southwestern with inpatients services at UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Parkland Memorial Hospital.
The physicians in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Southwestern are devoted to helping women maintain optimal health and well being throughout all phases of life. Their clinical services are offered in a private-practice setting and address a variety of women’s health problems arising during:

Clinical Services
UT Southwestern obstetricians and gynecologists offer both referral and consultative services to physicians and their patients throughout Texas and the southwestern United States. We have physicians fluent in a variety of languages including Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Cantonese, and Telegu (Southern India). Recently we have expanded our practice to include the full breadth of obstetrical and gynecological services including:

Patient Referrals
Patients may be referred by their physician, or they may refer themselves. To refer yourself, please schedule an appointment with us. CLICK HERE for a list of our office numbers. Referrals from a physician can be made by letter, telephone, or telefax. We request that all pertinent medical records be made available before the initial visit. Also requested are pertinent medical records from the referring or previous physician including:

Pathological specimens and reports

X-ray films and reports, if available, and

Date of patient's last menstrual period if the patient is pregnant.
Special Information for New Patients
New patients should plan to arrive one-half hour before their scheduled appointment to complete the necessary registration forms. This will ensure better care for you, as we need your complete medical history during your initial visit.

- Prescription Refills
To provide you with better service when you need a prescription refill, it is most efficient for you to have your pharmacist fax a refill request to your doctor's office. Please be sure to allow a full working day to complete the process. For a list of fax numbers, CLICK HERE. MyChart participants can request refills electronically over a secure web site.
- Test Results
Patients who enroll in My Chart can access test results through a secure on-line website. If you are not enrolled in MyChart, please make sure that we have your daytime and evening phone numbers, as well as your mailing address so that we can communicate your test results. Usually it takes 14 days to receive Pap smear results or results of special tests that are sent out to a reference laboratory.
